Gamification as a Tool for Enhancing Student Engagement
Abstract
This paper examines gamification as an educational tool to boost student engagement. Gamification refers to the application of game design elements such as points, leaderboards, and badges in non-game contexts, including education. With the rise of digital tools, the incorporation of gamified elements into classrooms has become increasingly prevalent. This paper investigate studies demonstrating the positive impacts of gamification on student engagement, examines the mechanisms by which gamification fosters learning, and discusses best practices and challenges in its implementation.
